Mini Break for under £100pp, is it possible?

Loads of options in Devon.

Only problem with the UK is travel, really, if they don’t have a car. A return train ticket from London (for example) to Devon would probably eat up a lot of that £100pp, sadly.

I’ll send the tractor for them.

Wales is cheap. Look at camping there or youth hostel?

Should be doable!

Yep, it’s so annoying because I love train journeys :frowning:
Luckily my friend has a car

Found a campsite we thought was perfect, seemed like we’d have our own private space.
‘no amplified music’ do they mean amps or does that include lil speakers?!

Look on the YHA website. They have little huts and chalets in the middle of nowhere and if you book in advance they’re cheap as chips.

Thanks!

i’d take that as nothing amplified = you wouldn’t be allowed to crank the volume to point of entertaining a crowd

like if you played music in a random field in the countyside and it was loud enough for 4 people, that’s clearly not the same as playing it loud enough for 40 people where you could probably get shut down for hosting a rave

Hmmm. I took it to mean no speakers…
Hmm maybe I should contact them and ask…

i mean, there’s a sliding scale that starts with playing something on your phone without a speaker

clearly, they’re not gonna kick you out if you’re listening on your phone and the next step up of a small speaker realistically shouldn’t disturb people

be interested to know what they say though, no harm in asking!
