I hear this sometimes from DiSers about going to the pub and getting a steak or a roast and I cringe everytime. I just picture ronnie the cook at my local watering hole given me a steak he cooks and i get sick thinking about it. First off, no way are pubs getting good cuts of meat to serve like your high end market or restaurant will. I understand the economics and simplicity of however,

roasts can be okay in pubs, but even then, its so hit and miss, and you’re never getting better than homemade.
just order the impossible to fuck up stuff in pubs.
