Yeah couldn’t really get into the album, usually struggle with that sort of very intense noisy stuff. Makes my head hurt tbh, feels claustrophobic
But live it totally … came to life. Just so punchy and visceral and transfixing. A must see

That remix is good
caught these lads supporting gilla band a few weeks back and they were fucking great fun. singer oozed charisma and the band all looked like they were having a great time. Had a swift drink with the singer and he was telling me they should be playing glasgow in the fall. 
He was sound.

Booked in for Brighton. Revenge doesn’t usually host gigs except for The Great Escape, the stage there is tiny though and the sound is questionable (which I suppose is par for the course with TGE).
Should be great either way.
Finally got round to listening to the album and oh boy, I am a fan.

Just revisited the album, had only played it 3 times before today.
Checking out their early stuff for the first time, happy it’s all on streaming. Quite strong material all the way through. In some ways I like the vocals better than I do on the album – it’s the one thing that kept me from replaying the album more than I have. I think they’re less forward, perhaps.

Some elements of it and Damocles were very Battles-like.
I dug into all those singles after seeing them a few weeks back and was pleasantly surprised at how strong it all was. Particularly liked the ‘AVA’ single, possibly the most ambitious thing ive heard by them. its split into 3 parts on the tracklisting but its just one epic multi sectioned track really.

Incredible last night! So sweaty. Promised that new music/tour will be soon. Really excited to see what direction they go in.
