Daiso!!

Yep. A mix of Daiso and Seria.

Ooooh not seen ‘seria’ before…looks cracking

fucking playing penoid online card games again aren’t I?

Kind of like a Japanese version of Tiger except most things are 100円, and they’re mostly found as a concession in department stores. I think they’re quite new.

One of my direct reports kindly bought me a coffee this morning as I’m struggling to get around.

Then, later on, he bought me another one.

Then, at lunchtime he offered to buy me a third - I didn’t want a third. I counted how many times I had to say no - 31! Despite me telling him that it wouldn’t get drunk and would go cold, that it would be a waste of money he simply wouldn’t take no for an answer.

He then rang me from the coffee bar downstairs to try and persuade me to have a tea or hot chocolate instead.

In the end I had to (only half) jokingly threaten to sack him if he bought me anything.

It was mightily generous of him, but man, I really hate it when people won’t accept no as an answer.

Going through hundreds of photos of Kyoto and deleting/editing them. The worst bit of how many photos digital cameras allow you to take.

what’s with all the cute stones with bibs?

At a buddhist temple. They put hats and bibs on lots of the statues. These ones are for good luck for babies and travellers.

Hi all. Drinking cheap beers in the sun in Belgrade.
