Morning. Monday is my day off so that’s nice. Got a friend and her toddler over this morning. Need to go get croissants before they arrive.
Swimming this afternoon, so should be a nice day.
My slippers, which have a rubber sole, are causing small static shocks all the time so I need to get some others. The toddler has some Hey Duggee slipper sock things which look lovely and they do adult ones and I REALLY WANT THESE CHILLI ADULT ONES but worried she’ll be upset that she doesn’t have them too (because she really loves Bluey)…
A can was blowing around in the winds last night and it woke me up. There are cobbles on the lane outside so I think it was just bouncing off them? That was a new one, anyway.
Also I dropped my phone and cracked the screen when i got up. Not too embarrassing in the general scheme of things, had I not got the screen replaced three weeks ago. At least it was a different year, right??
My other half messed around with the thermostat yesterday and now our radiators aren’t coming on. At least it’s not as chilly as last week. If you need me, I’ll be wearing two jumpers
This weekend has destroyed me so not feeling it this morning. So tired. Still, he’s cute so I’ll allow it but fingers crossed he’ll be sleeping through the night next week……
Back is dead sore, so that’s nice. Lots of H&S related stuff to be done today. But it’s new Cheekface day, so gonna rinse and repeat that album a lot today
