Quiet today, isn’t it? Suppose I’ll do the full shebang since I’m killing time in an airport anyway.

Friday: dunno. Can’t have been much.

Saturday: sleep, nerdy card game tournament. Did well in the Swiss rounds, crashed out horribly in the eliminations. Had fun, nice crowd, tried to chat up a couple who were there into playing board games more regularly because they were refreshingly normal. Probably didn’t pull.

Sunday: eye health shenanigans. NHS 111 sent me to A&E. I’m fine. Highlight: parent in front of me who was taking their child in at 11 o’clock Sunday morning despite finding out the previous night that said child had downed a whole bottle of Calpol. What.

This week: off to The Hague for work today/tomorrow. Will spend the rest of the week making up for the time out of the office. No fun plans.

HELLO HAPPY MONDAY DIS

(And happy thanksgiving canada)

I accidentally gave our youngest 10ml of Calpol instead of 5ml (I was half asleep and my blurry eyes misread the syringe thing) a year or so ago. Before I had got through to 111, my wife was already fully dressed and in rushing-to-A&E mode. (We didn’t have to go in the end).

Yes, should be able to bag at least a couple of fizzy cola bottles and a strawberry lace for a tenner.

Morning all. Lovely bright weather out there, not too much to do in the way of work for the first time in a while. Could be worse.

Or at least 25,000 flying saucers.

Those are high street prices. 25,000 saucers at cinema rates would be enough to pay Amazon’s income and corporations tax for several years.

I thinking more if they charge by weight @keith

Up early to go to the bank when it opened. Did a full load of laundry and now I’ve to finish an article.

Might apply for a job in the arts centre where loads of my mates work. It’d be bar work but at least I’d be earning again.

Oh, and one of my mates made this apropos of nothing yesterday. I like it.

Morning chaps. Lovely day out there - might got a walk in the sun at lunchtime as have the new Goat album to listen to…

Off this week. Just picked up le chat from le chattery, having a cup of tea and thinking about sorting out the massive pile of washing we’ve accumulated.

Baby is getting too big for her pram top so we’re trying to get her to nap in her cot. Seems to be working, she’s snoozing with the goose comforter up there as we speak.

Gonna get my disexchange mix sorted at some point today I think.

Need to get healthy again, my body is a bit of a wreck and I’m actually starting to want to change it.

Hey.
Woken up with a very stiff neck and can hardly left my head up :O(
In better news have a tiler coming around today to do a new splash back in the kitchen, all the current tiles are cracked so it looks horrible. I’m please to get this underway.

What is this?

It’ll sort the place right out. Love a bit of the old home improvement. I’ve got to fit an extractor fan and run some cabling through our bedroom walls/loft this week, then work out what I’m gonna do with out recently displaced TV box and associated spaghetti since I put my stereo on the wall…

Can’t believe I’m saying this but…

…I miss the italics

Oh, my friends call me Mr.K as a nickname and one of them made that for me as a joke!

Day off innit, slept in til 10 - lovely stuff.

Was supposed to see The Atomic Bitchwax last night, but it was cancelled, so still took the day off anyway. No idea what to do though; might go to the cinema.
