If loving a film too much spoils a film club then I must have been insufferable when we watched Pom Poko last week :flushed:

Evening everyone. Just cooked a load of bacon off to defrost/reheat for breakfasts, pasta and what-have-you (future me says “thanks” to current me). Off for a walk and hoping the rain holds off.
Just picked up my second book since lockdown began - Because Internet, all about language and how the web is shaping the way we communicate. Looks pretty interesting.

What a haul! How exciting
So exciting I forgot to ask, what did you get?

Haha, it’s not loving a film, it’s ME loving a film. You couldn’t be insufferable if you tried

Veg cottage pie was lovely. Gonna have a glass of red and an early night.

Just remembered a podcast I listened to and Eddie Hearn was the guest and they asked what his guilty pleasure is and he said wafer thin ham wrapped around a breadstick.

I’d feel guilty about that too, use regular ham ffs.

Dunno why it’s stuck with me so much, think it’s cause he has access to so much money and all the drink and drugs etc but he just loves… ham

Hi all,

Eating a huge bowl full of tiramisu.

Banana for scale but you can’t really see how big that portion is. Trust me on this, it’s a deep bowl.

If there’s one thing that unites rich and poor, the haves with the have-nots, the Eddie Hearns with the Timothy S Funkhousers, it’s ham.

 such a funny word as well. Ham.

Not a meat eater as a general rule but the one thing I miss is what I like to call “cat food ham”. You know the ham that’s in a tin and you have to wash the jelly off and it comes with a key like corned beef? Specifically that ham. My gran used to make me cat food ham sandwiches when I was little and I’ve yet to find a veggie alternative.

If you mean the TaTu version, then yes.

I would like to take this chance to also declare myself a fan of tinned meats.

Oh.

It’s a very good song, obviously. Weird that nobody knows who sang on it.
