Hi evening thread!
I’ve delivered The Child to and from Rainbows and I’m now on a train into town for some nostalgic noisy post-hardcore.

I’m disappointed Rainbows didn’t exist when I was Rainbows age because I would love to be in a club type thing called Rainbows. A much cooler name than Guides.

Hello! Can’t believe it’s only Monday tbh. Maybe just cause I’m beginning to feel stressed out over having to get stuff done before leaving for my xmas hols on Thursday! Oh and we have 2 hours of partial daylight by now (and still decreasing) so every day just feels really long.
Having a half-arsed chili and watching Billy the Kid, a half-arsed show. 
Noticed some very brazen tampering to m’s advent calendar. She has stolen from her future self and eaten 2 extra chocs. I told her she broke the worst crime of Christmas.
meant to be meeting an old friend tomorrow but they’ve just text saying “Geddy might join us for a bit”. I know they mean the guy from Rush but I refuse to acknowledge a name drop that doesn’t extend to their full name as if I should know who he means. Also, no he won’t, shut up.

Evening
On the way home from work. Managed to get away about an hour early which is always nice.
The city centre was and the train home is nice and quiet which is a bit of a rare treat at this time of year.
That is the only reference point i have for the guy. Looked up his latest pics from his book tour and i thought he was john cooper clarke.

They played this but without House of Pain it just didn’t work.
Also didn’t play FBLA II and I’m listening to Battles on the way home because John Stanier is the best.
God I’m quite tired. Might have an early night
