You don’t need to be anything for your family, from what you’ve said they aren’t exactly supportive towards you.
You’re a wonderful mum to R, you consistently go above and beyond and exhaust the means and resources you have to try and make things better for him. That is incredible and more than most of us could do. Even though it’s exhausting and often debilitating, you still attend each and every meeting with his school because even when you have nearly nothing left to give, you still fight for him. He might not get it now, but he’ll appreciate it when he’s older.

Is there any way you could use the rainy day fund to stay in an air b&b or something close by for a few days? Xx

I don’t know what’s worse for R, me being here but incapacitated pretty much, or me being gone flyte a while. Either way it is cruel that I’ve messed up his routine and not been there for him. Hate myself for it.

Sorry, should’ve been clearer- I meant somewhere for you and R to both stay for a couple of days. If his school are going to continuously suspend him and be useless and unsupportive, I can’t imagine they’d have a problem with you taking him out for a few days? Remember you saying in the past that it’s much easier for you both when you don’t have your family/authorities getting involved.
Just an idea though, FL. We’re all here to help you as much as we possibly can even from a distance, we all care about you a lot.
And FWIW, if it’s not feasible to take R with you and you need to use the fund to get away for a few days, please do it. That doesn’t make you selfish, it means you’re an exhausted person who needs a bloody break. No one can judge you for that- personally I would’ve snapped a long time ago if I were in your position. If you know that R is safe and will have his needs met, you are well within your rights to have a break. You deserve rest. It will be beneficial for him in the long run. Sure I’m not the only disser who’s worried about you x

@anon89873996 I’m glad you got at least a bit of d&d time, it was really nice to talk to you even in a fantasy setting and I hope it was a small bit of respite. I really wish you had someone who could advocate for what you and R need. I agree with everything Kermit said as well x

You’ve probably been through this already but

If it’s “a sudden and very severe headache resulting in a blinding pain unlike anything experienced before” then probably best to call 111 for advice or 999 if appropriate. But it could just be a bad headache or a migraine (they’re just on one side aren’t they), especially if it’s not as severe as that description or if you have none of the other symptoms.

Thank you! It’s not as the stroke described, I think because at the weekend I was looking at high blood pressure stuff which can cause strokes, and my brain has spiralled. This headache has been going on since Sunday (after the bp scare) and is on one side of my head. I hate being like this, I’m convinced I’m about to die all the time :frowning:

Called Neutral Cider Hotel, got yer man from frightened rabbit on it. Was first time I listened to it and I fell asleep so can’t give a verdict as yet.
