just had some rice pudding. been making rice pudding a lot lately because it takes about 1 minute to prepare and put in the oven but feels like i’ve gone to the effort of making myself something for pudding.

I’ve felt awful today. My workload is ridiculous, I keep sweating (despite it being cold today) - had to have my fan on like some kind of lunatic. Urgh.

It’s super frustrating though because Norwegian and Danish are actually pretty similar written down, but the spelling and grammar is just different enough that I can’t tell what the hell is going on most of the time. And I’m especially not in any place to be correcting stuff or moving words around or anything.

Oh Chris Packham is on?? Damn, I missed it.

Played in a load of chalk dust with Jnr today then realised I was so thirsty owing to the amount of dust in my lungs and so we scarpered. Walked through the new exhibition at the Whitworth which involved two people kind of dancing about whilst you looked at stuff and performance art like that makes me feel weird. DON’T MAKE EYE CONTACT WITH THE DANCERS.

Went for a cider then came home to cook for my neighbour who, it has transpired recently, is actually freakin’ loaded and I’m using my measly £300 per month to cook for her twice a week under the assumption she’s got no money either, so I’ve been a bit angry about it to be honest after scrabbling around under my bed for some coins yesterday morning. Of course…I haven’t bothered to say anything and I will continue to cook for her forever.

I don’t have live TV as my aerial doesn’t work so I only tend to see whatever pops up in iPlayer.

I had a really successful day at work and then scored some goals at football.

Ate a Thai curry and now I’m watching The Magnificent 7.

I’m on strike again tomorrow but there seems to be movement so hopefully that’ll be the last time.

It’s weird though Like you look at Spanish and Portuguese and there’s blatantly enough there that’s very similar it must seem very odd if you speak either. Always wondered what that’s like but I can barely speak English so whatever.
