Fair enough. As someone whose procrastination regularly gets me in all sorts of trouble I feel your pain.

I can’t stop it, sadly!

Anything fun you can go and do?

(I’ll deal with it tomorrow)

I think I am feeling too anxious to be able to enjoy anything really.

How come?

Boo. Sit in a quiet corner and look at photos of R. I’ve got a folder of Jimbo’s cheeky face that I dip into when I need cheering up.

Ah this sucks :disappointed_relieved: have you tried all the tricks to find the cheapest flights you can?

Oh no! Why so glum?

:hugs:

Evening everyone. I’m really tired as I slept badly last night. I’m watching Springwatch and waiting for Love Island.

Gave blood today. Was told to keep on squeezing and releasing my hand, flip flop my feet like a swimming duck and erm… clench my buttocks? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

No one else seemed to be doing these things

Yeah - trouble is they either require about 3 changes, or require getting a flight back at 6.30 the morning after the wedding. Not ideal.

Also the place is about a 75 min drive from the airport and I can’t afford to hire a car on top of the flights as well.

Sounds like your flow was a bit slow, never heard the buttocks one though :joy:

For various reasons I seem to have been dwelling on/reliving some kind of traumatic past things recently. It is all very odd because it is usually the future that makes me feel depressed, the past I can usually just brush aside.

On the plus side, tears have stopped my eyes itching for the first time in days. Who knew sadness was good for hayfever.

Also, thank you @Witches, @weeber, @rob.orch and @laelfy.

I have heard about all those things before from people who have given blood, if they were having you on they are also doing it to people all over the place too.

Love making plots. I think faffing about making nice graphs is the part of my job I like best

Had a Larry David moment earlier. Parked in the Waitrose car park, and there wasn’t a family parking space available. Had to park out where I could get easy access to the back seats, and space for the TV to fully open the passenger door as she struggles with her C-section operation. After shopping, I noticed somebody park up in one of said spaces, without a child. So, forthrightly, I strode over and started having a go about how people like her parking in those spaces makes life quite hard for families with kids. She them quietly pointed to the sign that showed the space she had parked in was in fact a disabled space and not a family space.

I had to offer some very grovelling apologies, but she understood how frustrating it can be.

She then started cooing over the baby, so it ends ok in the end.
