Been drinking at my pals in Edinburgh. Not working tomorrow so gonna drink more booze. Enjoying 2 doors down, this Scottish comedy.

wellā€¦ itā€™s hard to praise oneself plus when you record everything on your own youā€™re exclusively reliant on your own judgement and you can hear every little tiny error & you know exactly which bits you were a bit slack about & whatnot but to be honest no one else will ever listen that closely & no one else will ever miss the bits they never heard (that you edited out or that were just in your head & you couldnā€™t get down)

so yeah, trust the creative decisions you made in the open mode when you were in a flow & everything is good

nah, itā€™s a pure dance track, extremely repetitive solid groove with lots of trippy fluttery delays in the high frequencies to keep it evolving and to stimulate adrenalin & dopamine - no structure, not much melody to speak of - just sound & rhythm

nothing wrong with that, I just hope itā€™s suitably hypnotic. Really enjoying things that can shut out my brain at the moment.

Just back from various pubs now. Slowly realising that Iā€™m a really cool person and that Iā€™m very talented in the fields I pursue. Was trying to drink away that realisation for too long.
