Monday lunch thread

I’m going to have slow cooked lamb that I made on Saturday with rice. The lamb has got carrots, mushrooms, lentils and beans in with it. I’m hungry already even though it’s not even 2hrs since I ate breakfast

Had some leftover Greek food from yesterday, loads of grilled veggies, roasted aubergine dip and crispy chickpeas in a focaccia with a side of Greek salad. Leftover Bourneville buttons for pudding :yum:

Now, write it out 100 times.

Sorry about that! To be honest I’m always too busy scoffing the contents to notice the spelling. Consider it noted :eyes:

I find deshelling chickpeas too much of a faff

You deffo don’t need to deshell chickpeas to roast them. Can’t believe everyone’s missing out on the roasted chickpeas goodness.

boil first still?

Straight from the can my friend!

Not sure if the egg smells a bit off or if that’s just how eggs smell

  • Egg smell, it’s fine, eat it
  • Gone off smell, don’t risk it
  • Do you really need another poll about this bloody egg?

  • Cheese, ham and coleslaw sandwich
  • half a pork pie
  • banana
  • a couple of homemade biscuits

Can’t go back to canned unfortunately!

can’t believe you haven’t eaten this egg yet

I reckon you could give them a good long soak before roasting if you’re not using canned, makes it a bit more of a faff but I’m sure it would taste delicious :ok_hand:

I’ve decided I’m not gonna.
Will have a coffee and a chocolate cereal bar instead.

JUST EAT THE DAMN EGG!
