I really want to play the drums right now. Only two things stand in the way of that. I don’t really know how to play the drums, and I don’t have any drums.

I can play the drums but I dont have any anymore, on fact I’ve not had drums for so long that I don’t think I can remember how to play now I think about it. Depressing.

We can always air drum though - arguably more fun and tons of room for error

(Before I had drums I used pillows to learn)

This is true, I do love an air drum! Also, I’m sure if you sat behind a kit you’d probably remember more than you think you would. It’s amazing how much just sits in the memory like that.

Oh no, not at all, I just realised this week that I dont retain anything! Made like 150 granny squares for a blanket, so many hours work, put it down for 2 week ans I couldn’t remember a single thing and it took me 2 days to learn again.

Ofc it remembers adverts from the 80s verbatim and all that nonsense.

What’s up with brains doing that? I regularly make the most detailed plans of what I’m going to do in terms of admin stuff, and then when I get around to it there’s just flies in my head, or a song from Animalypics or something

Still have memories of weird bits of programs and adverts taped off the TV onto VHS for episodes of cartoons I used to watch as a kid.

Vividly remember one from Saturday morning tv where these kids were making “wacky tacky pizza” which was chocolate pizza with a bunch of sweets on top. Think it was before an episode of X-Men.
