Salmon was really easy - few tablespoons of soy sauce and couple of tablespoons of brown sugar to marinate the salmon in for ten minutes*, then cook in a hot frying pan three minutes one side, turn and however much on the other side you need cook it through (also worth turning the heat down a little for the second side so you don’t get it burning). Very delicious and I have just saved you reading through all the pre-recipe bullshit I had to scroll through to get to the method 
*ideally longer I think, but this is what the recipe said and it was also a last minute decision to do the salmon not just plain.
