1st meeting cancelled for me which is nice as i woke up late and so did the kids so it was panic stations.
Now i just have to embrace the day i guess. sun is shining so thats good.

Morning!
Have a couple of days without freelance, giving me a much needed chance to catch up on some other work, but I’ve got an awful eye-ache/headache combo that’s kept me up the last couple of nights so off to the doctor instead, which is a mild inconvenience.
Hope you get over it quickly. Can relate, not having to go to work this week is the only glimmer of light in what will be a pretty cruddy few days. Raining soon too apparently, great.

Morning
Was outside at 8am clearing ivy and weeds and whatnot from the front garden
10 minutes later I was throwing my (old and knackered luckily) Vans away cos I’d stood in 
. Yay
Anyway, sat at my desk now . Yay, work
Excited to discover a jar of fancy, golden smooth peanut butter for my toast that TV had bought in a moment of extreme generosity (she likes crunchy), but then discovered it’s one of those types that seperates.
What to do? Stir daily? Stir once, refrigerate and then suffer the unspreadable consequences?
Boiler at work seems to have healed over the weekend, so coffee is back on the menu, yay!

Morning DiS,
Been up since 6am and had a fairly productive morning tbf. Nursery run done and donated mini s_w’s baby walker thing to them for the baby room too. Then been to the inpost locker, dropped some parcels off, picked some up. Then been for a blood test 4 vials full on a Monday morning…why didn’t I get it done on Friday. and back home via the post box all in time to start work at 9am. Oh first load of laundry is in cause its dry and sunny so determined get stuff on the line to dry today.
Definately going to need a coffee soon though.

Summary
I’ve had to pull a sickie as I’m too stressed to the point of drinking during work hours. All I’m going to do is work, so it’s not a real sickie. It’s just working all day on something I’m behind on which is the reason for the stress. I suppose the benefit of the sickie means I won’t be contacted, don’t have to do my Monday one to one with my manager and don’t have to say for the millionth day in a row in the standup that I’m still working on the same thing. I’m going to have to do one tomorrow as well to make this one seen more genuine and not related to the football, but I need it as well. I can’t possibly say the real reason I need it off is mental health, have to lie about a physical thing like a stomach bug. 
Now I’ve got the guilt/feeling pathetic.

I’m in the office today, because of various family things where I may need to be at home later this week. Why do they decide to do maintenance on the coffee machines around 9am? Can’t they at least let people settle into their desks, get a coffee, and then maybe start the maintenance at half nine, once people’s coffee needs have been satisfied in the short term? Bah.
In other news, my Dry Cleaning tee shirt, which was one of my faves thanks to it’s vibrant mustard colour, has become misshapen. Boo (I’ve got too many tee shirts, it’s hardly the end of the world)

Oh yeah I have an invisible but highly painful spot on the end of my nose
It’s payday but I already spent loads of money at the weekend so it doesn’t feel at all fun. Kid was up 12-2am and the sky is grey and I’ve got my appraisal in a bit and I just cannot be bothered.
