I’ve read a couple of interviews of hers, seen her name mentioned quite a lot, but I’d never listened to her. I’ve just stuck on the first track of hers (Appointment) that I found on Youtube. Totally stopped in my tracks - beautiful stuff.

Work dread nil. Life dread off the scale.
Have to begin writing a succession plan at work for my role and then a development plan for them. Don’t really want to interact with anyone else…
Want to try and finish issue 2 of the zine this week so I can begin selling on Saturday. Lots of editing / finishing off to do.
Given myself a 3 and a half day week next week, looking forward to that.
Good Monday morning. Having a bath this morning before heading out for cream team with the wife and newborn. Pretty pretty good Monday #blessed

This might be worthy of a new thread but I don’t really like having two “live” threads going at once (too many notifications) (yes, I know I can turn the notifications off, but still)
Couple of situations this morning.
First of all, some manspreading TO THE MAX. I got on the train and it wasn’t mega full but I like to sit down the end and preferably on the aisle when I have the amount of bags I carry (i had laptop plus extra clothes for work this week if I run in.
I sat down in this yellow seat which was actually housing the bag of the red dot next to it.
But little did I know that the red dot men were together? So when I sat down, they started talking around me? and breathing on me? Like proper invasion of personal space so I had to move.
NOT ON. You do not need to be taking up the space of 5 seats. Why do men do this?
Secondly I got my arse to the bank this morning so I could pay in some cash.
Me: Can I pay this in please?
Bank guy: How much is this?
Me: I dunno I’ve forgotten
Bank guy: counts money ok thats £215
Me: Errr I’m sure it was a bit more than that
Bank: No? It’s £215
Me: I’m sorry can you tell me what I gave you please?
Bank guy: Yeah, you gave me 3 x £50, 5 x £20, a £10 and a £5
Me: Ok…so that’s not £215
Bank guy: Yes it is, you gave me 3 x £50, 5 x £20, a £10 and a £5 - that’s £215
Me: Errrrr no? Let’s go through it again
Bank guy: ok 3 x £50
Me: So £150
Bank guy: and 5 x £20
Me: So we’re now on £250
Bank guy: ah

if kind of feel yr pain - we have storage heaters and at like 4am they come on blasting hot air out and there’s no way to stop it. don’t wanna completely turn the bedroom one off otherwise it’ll be absolutely freezing in there but still, hate being to warm for sleeping
