Would there be much interest in doing a thread for cooking and sharing recipes and tips and stuff? I have now ‘mastered’ 2 dishes that I cook huge pots of once a week and then freeze, I think moving on to 3 would be good!

Morning all. Still hungover from weddingy good times on saturday. The bride and groom got halfway through their first dance before an 8 piece brass band piled through the door and did covers of Talking Heads and Madness for the rest of the evening. Danced my wee arse off I did.

Saw sun kil moon last night, probably one of the better post benji shows I’ve seen, he had an amazing backing band. Seems more of a standup nowadays though

Highlights included, working several reference to how much he hates Westfields shopping centre, including a song they put together at soundcheck about how sentimental he gets about his socks and not wanting to buy more in H&M, trolling the audience by saying he was going to play rollercoaster all the way through, rhyming ‘crisis’ with ‘cold as isis’, a song about American politics from the perspective of a cat.

Today I’m wearing a shirt that is too small, might buy a new on en route or suffer mild discomfort all day

Terrible morning.

Noticed a leak coming from upstairs in our bedroom last night but it appeared to be drying so we thought “ah well” then this morning woke up to find it quite bad :astonished:

It’s nothing from our property I don’t think, but upstairs are getting a plumber round. Fucksake. The only room we’ve finished decorating!

Then I cycled to work in a torrential downpour and when I got here I realised I forgot my pass. Please give me all the coffee and nice things.

Ugh - house stuff like this is so annoying, esp. if you’ve sunk a lot of time / money into getting your place done up nicely, and esp. shortly after moving in. Hope it gets sorted pronto.
