Morning all 
Really struggling with motivation this morning. Feels like January has kicked harder than in recent years. Maybe it’s because it’s the first winter since before COVID where I’ve been required to go into an office on a regular basis. Could do with better bike tyres at this time of year too. Eh well!

Woke up at 3am and couldn’t get back to sleep. Work is likely to be manic and I don’t have the energy for even a quiet day of procrastinating.

I’m in Mexico. However I’m not gloating quite yet - alarm went off 6am Sunday and we got to our apartment half an hour ago due to delayed flights and other transport issues. So I’ve now been up for 26 hours or something… and I’m now sat up watching in the night garden at 10 to 4 in the morning because my son got loads of sleep and is on UK time.

Morning,
We had a weird incident this morning where our house smelled of cat poo, but we couldn’t find any cat poo. Sometimes smells come in from next door (more that sounds, weirdly), and the smell has now dissipated, so we’re hoping that it came from next door and they’ve cleared it up. Or our noses are blind to it now.
Nothing exciting is happening today. Nothing. I’m going to buy some milk at lunchtime, and that’ll be the peak of my day
