I thought this was a reference to your kids taking over the whole place.
Only fully trustworthy users can get Lounge access so I’m afraid if I let you in I’d have to be fair and let the likes of @JohnM in FFS.
I was in the Lounge for a spell and then it was cruelly ripped away from me. Can you get me back in Theodore?
are we talking about places like homesense, only less tkmaxx?
Guys: JohnM.
There have to be standards, is all I’m saying.
Is it seriously only London where we have to take shit like Oliver Bonas on every fucking high street?
Dunno if this is relevant but went into the new zara (?) home shop at the weekend, they have everything ordered by colour rather than category, I was impressed
who the living fuck is oliver boner?
This is why Catford is GREAT: no fucking bullshit shops like this.
Think there’s a thread in this – what shops would be on your PERFECT high street?
every time I walk past it I get Oliver’s Army in my head
(but I replace army with Bonas)
It appears there is an Oliver Bonas in Brighton, had no idea it is a chain - it just blends in with all the other mood board shops in the North Laine area
Is Kath Kidson the queen of the mood board shop?
Think she’s been usurped by Orla Kiely now
*Boners
What about Joy?
I feel like, while you COULD completely outfit yourself via Oliver Bonas and it would ‘okay’ if you tried this with Kidston you’d look like you’d completely infantilised yourself.
I’ve actually bought things from Joy before, they have some nice clothes. I have never bought anything from Oliver Bonas and not sure I know anyone who has, but they must be successful when there are so many branches everywhere.
We’ve had a few different things from them. Bowls, picture frames, etc.
Joy fucked up with some highly dubious cards not long back so I’m a bit off the idea of shopping there.
Oh Oliver Bonas started in Fullham. Explains a lot. The About Us section has to be read in full I think for full wince.

Difficult to answer, what with increasing rental prices in city centres AND the huge rise in online fantasy gaming.
Yeah I think joy is one of the originals, though just from watching towie I think less poncey / diy versions have been a thing in Essex for a while.
