I’ve actually bought things from Joy before, they have some nice clothes. I have never bought anything from Oliver Bonas and not sure I know anyone who has, but they must be successful when there are so many branches everywhere.

We’ve had a few different things from them. Bowls, picture frames, etc.

Joy fucked up with some highly dubious cards not long back so I’m a bit off the idea of shopping there.

Oliver Bonas have stores in Belfast, Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, Cambridge, Kingston, Leeds, Manchester (2), Oxford, Reading, St Albans, Tunbridge Wells, West Bridgford, York, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow (2), but London does have 43 of them, apparently.

And to be fair to Oliver Bonas, they were one of the first (or maybe even the first) high street chain to pay their staff the proper living wage.

The jewellery section at OB is great and I got my favourite scarf from there, not bought any of the cookbooks/overpriced bowls etc though
