Never had branded stuff as a kid - wrt to ‘sport’ brand, i still baulk at how much the adidas hoodies/ trousers cost! 2 for £58(!) for adidas jumpers in sports direct, one hoody for £39.99 in JD sports!!!

It’s too hot & I’m getting a bit bored of the pool now - especially since scraping my face a bit on the bottom this morning when diving in

On one childhood beach holiday I had read all of the 5 or so books I brought with me (including some pretty chunky Stephen Kings) . I ended up my sister’s copy of Jilly Coopers Polo out of desparataion

Yeah - I brought two books, both finished now

Actually found myself absent-mindedly flicking through some of the titles on the shelf at this apartment - which are 95% Swedish books about golfing in Spain - until I found a copy of Alvin Toffler’s ‘The Third Wave’ and got halfway through the first chapter before thinking “I’ve already read this 4 times in English, why the fuck am I reading it it Swedish?”
