@witches Ha yeah I fell prey to that quite often usually whilst darting down the wing or something and then you’d have to make the split second decision as to whether you wanted popper up or to continue playing! Completely impractical clothing really; usually made the conscious effort to take them off straight after warming up.

I went on holiday to france when I was about 13 or 14 and got a NafNaf top, which everyone was jealous of when I got home. It was proper neddy and all of the local neds whose radar I had previously flown under, suddenly wanted me to be their neddy mate.

I also had a moschino jacket that said MOSCHINO right across the shoulder blades and I think also down one arm, and I had lilac Versace jeans with the massive medusa face on my arse. My style was oh so subtle. OH THE '90s.

I fell really sick today.

Yeah had a big grin on my face from the opening strains of Four Winds! Thought the new track as part of the final encore (Kick the Can (?)) was awesome too! Did you have any highlights?

The crowd were dead chatty throughout though especially during Big Thief which sucked as I really looking forward to hear how tracks from Capacity translated live…

Oh yeah, wore barely any brands as a kid. We always had knock off runners or no name replicas if the branded stuff. I remember getting my first Umbro Chelsea jerseys and thinking I was the shit.

foul fucking mood

got new shirt and jeans on tho so that’s good i guess

Morning all!

No work today as I’m recovering from a long weekend of travel and wedding and top-notch stout.

Today, I’m playing computer games, doing grocery shopping and playing two games of football. My wife laughed at me this morning because I decided we’re eating some kind of bolognese after watching that Dolmio advert with Dominic whatshisface.

I was so deeply uncool as a child, I don’t think I was bothered about branded clothes. Once I was old enough to have a job (and old enough to know better) I bought myself branded clothes sometimes. I do quite like a bit pf sportswear now but I’d argue it’s because I like it rather than because it says Nike or whatever

I’ve got new socks on. And will have every (work) day for the next two weeks.

Yeeeeeeah!

My favourites were cape canavral, artifact1, and that new one. The set definitely wasn’t one I’d choose from his back catalogue but I ended up enjoying some songs a lot more than I thought I would. Glad it wasn’t an all seated venue like recent gigs, think that helped the vibe.

This live Future of the Left gig really sounds great doesn’t it? Sounds exactly as chunky and raw as you want a FOTL gig to sound.

on the subjects of brands

-I got a pair of kicker shoes for my 14th birthday
-I used to get cheap rip off imitation brands that my dad bought from some warehouse somewhere, like Mr Martens.

Principal branded item when I was at secondary school was a puma sports bag - like this (only mine was black with a yellow stripe thing)

My 13 year old son has now reached the point where brands/ labels etc are important - took him school uniform shopping on Friday, and no1 decision is what trainers to get (all black so they pass school uniform rules). This year he selected these Vans (old school pros - thank god the shop had them in his size etc, previous years we’ve searched in vain for “the chosen trainers”.

Morning!

I had the laziest weekend ever. Enjoyed my (almost) booze-free week. Went to see A Ghost Story Saturday night, I wasn’t sure what to make of it at first but thinking about it now it was really good, not what I expected at all.

Think I might be finally settling into the sertraline, though I slept so much this weekend.

yeah this was a mistake :hungary:

QUESTION: has there been a thread about artwork people have up on their walls at home? I’d like to start a thread about it but I’m having deja vu :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I had that bag too, so did a couple of friends. Mine was black and green.

I can’t remember seeing one anyway.

I think I’m just thinking of you and your poster collection. It is epic.

everyone’ll be busting to show off what prints they have

Still adding to it! I’d say start the thread!
