In general I’m picking the things that aren’t easily rectified I think. e.g. phone out of battery is actually more annoying than a bad takeaway at the point it happens but recharging a phone is pretty easy to achieve, whereas you can’t be ordering a new takeaway can you? You’ve just got to eat it.

agree with the logic but not with the conclusion on that example

  • bad takeaway annoys me for the time to eat it, and maybe an hour after
  • dead phone can cause stress, changed plans, uncertainty for hours if happens at the wrong time. Can cause no issues at all at other times, but definitely can ruin an evening if happened at the worst time
  • Running out of polls to answer in the poll thread
  • Bare faced chattery in the poll thread

I guess it’s down to the very boring life I lead that the time for a takeaway is a big event whereas it’s rare I am in that situation of actually being out and a about and my dead phone fucking things up (either out with others already or else I have my powerbank in my bag probably, etc.)

And Uncle Retrospective wept, for there were no more polls to vote in.

If you live outside England feel free to answer the poll as if you were in England. Or not.
