Also it lets you pin individual people on there so you can full screen one person and really get a good look at what’s in the background.
I was screensharing and had a google search tab open for “do caterpillars have legs” (they don’t, as such).
It was embarrassing but not career ending… that I’m aware of.
This is absolutely the kind of thing I would do, in fact I would probably get distracted mid-screenshare and be caught googling that during the meeting
France is now mandating masks in offices. I’m quite enjoying WFH and have no burning desire to return (4 hour round trip commute I am not missing one bit) but having to wear a mask in the office would completely put me off returning, even when it does become an option. We have some permanent WFH staff (a legacy of an old regime) and I’m hoping they might revisit that model (minus the allowances the old ones get) so we never have to return if we don’t want to.
I live in fear of this, there have been a couple of close calls
Not necessarily WFH as much as furlough but… my manager and I are being flexibly furloughed for September because clients are taking so long to pay invoices that our cashflow has been affected
what office chair is everyone rocking…? my standard ikea dining chair isnt really cutting this 9-5, 5 days a week lark
It’s great
Got mine couriered from the office in the first week of lockdown but its starting to fall apart now

After raving about WFH earlier in the thread, I’ve encountered my first barrier. Dealing with a not-pleasant subject matter while sat in your kids room (where my desk is) is a bit of a headfuck. Have put it off for months but need to make some progress on it. So taking my first trip to the office next week to see if I can tackle it better in a more neutral environment.
Was just on a call and started flossing (cleaning teeth, not dancing) because I forgot my camera was on
This my one, it’s OK although not ergonomic or anything
Anyone have any monitor chat? Could get myself a nice monitor, staring at a tv screen isn’t doing it for me anymore

chair i went for in the end was a DAM Sandro
