Do you think they meant to make old Morrissey in that clip a scouser?

There’s an old Sean Hughes joke isnt there, “everyone grows out of their Morrissey phase…except Morrissey.”

the Sting line did raise a smile at least

I think Benedict Cumberbatch has heard of the North of England but I’m not sure he’s ever actually been here.

You can easily spend three years at a University in the North without ever speaking to anyone who’s not from Surrey.

I meant the old Morrissey who appeared on stage in that clip, I’m not sure if Cumberbatch was doing his voice as well

I often see bits of new episodes and think they’ve clearly changed the voice actors, but then remember they haven’t. They’ve just forgotten how to do them properly

Sounds 1/4 Scottish and 3/4 like a Brummie Sideshow Mel

I’d be surprised if they got two actors in when Cucumberpatch is so talented.

Also : er, I … um… well well well. There’s a lot to take in there.

I’m glad I lived long enough to see someone say “Wankers” on the Simpsons though… !!!

Yes I appreciate pointing this out is a bit…

How is it that literally everybody can do a serviceable Morrissey impression apart from a guy being paid a load of money to do one?

“Money Changes Everything”!

They said it again not long after that too…

Ha I don’t remember that. Not really a show where swearing sticks in my mind apart from “I’m filled with piss and vinegar” and “Holy moly, the bastard’s rich.”

Thing is, almost nobody in America without strong connections to the UK has heard of the “W” word…

That’s amazing!
