Best: Easter. Excuse to be gluttonous, no pressure to have a good time

Worst: Christmas. Fuck off, Christmas.

New Years Eve might be the worst actually, can’t remember the last one I genuinely enjoyed. Too many pricks about forcing themselves to be happy. And the kissing thing at midnight, jfc.

June 23rd obviously. Inde-bloody-pendence day

quite jealous of people who can ski / like it because it looks like a nice time

yeah, it’s great banter. thought it’d be up your street tbh.

My Mum had lessons (in the uk on fake snow and dry slope) and hated it. Also thought the cold etc was going to be proper shit. I convinced her to come and she fucking loves it now.

Being there is so so different. Snow is better and the skiing is easier, you’re ready for the cold and dressed for it, and ‘apres ski’ is amazing.

(obvs I snowboard tho)

Hah.

I don’t think I have room in my life for another expensive* hobby.

*is it???

Definitely can be, but doesn’t have to be!

no more expensive than a cycling holiday

yeah, but if its around the same price then you’re obviously going to go for the cycling holiday if you’re a cyclowanker.

i meant more the gear, plus I’d need lessons and that

quite frankly it’s a miracle i’ve taken this much to cycling so i don’t really want to overdo it

absolutely could not understand cycling instead of skiing/snowboarding.

i’m going here next week, LOOK AT IT

(shitting it tbh)

Spending a week having fun, getting pissed, drinking hot chocolate (and having fondue) somewhere like this <3

put it this way, you’re at a restaurant and there’s two meals to choose from. both of these meals are the same price, but one is your absolute favourite thing in the world (in this case, its cycling pie), and the other is a tasty looking but unknown meal (roast skiiing).

what does pnicki go for huh?

I’m a qualified instructor, btw

I’m a pretty adventurous guy, but I guess a lot of others aren’t.

I prefer samhain

^this was an unfunny joke I made last year, but I’ll be damned if I have to think of something new

Yeah, you think it would get easier as the years pass but it still hurts :frowning:
