It’s only happened about four times in my life but hell, it strikes fear into my heart.

still genuinely amazed Disturbed has managed to stick around long after Nu metal crashed and burned.

4:10 and on, and make sure you go all the way to the end, trust me. It’s absolutely inexplicable that he thought this was a good idea and that no one stopped him from doing this.

Also the existence of this.

I’m sure I’ll think of more throughout the day, but I’ll start with these two.

pure shit

What the fuck is that? Is that what her music is? Jesus. Oh God.

That last line on the CC song is AMAZING

Tomorrow I’ll wake up, do some P90X
Meet a really nice girl, have some really nice sex
And she’s gonna scream out: ‘This is Great’ (Oh my God, this is great!)

1:58-onward or so.

Tim Buckley doing white boy funk works surprisingly well musically… except godawful lyrics about “doing the monkey rub”, licking stretch marks, etc. It’s like a real bad parody of funk at that point.

I’m not doing this again for more than the one post, but no, that’s not what her music is. She’s fucking brilliant - go see her live.

The bass and the tweeters make the speakers go to war

Ah, the mighty trumpet brings the freaks out to the floor

The bass and the tweeters make the speakers go to war

Ah, the mighty trumpet brings the freaks out to the floor

Tell me, tell me, where the freaks at

Tell me, tell me, where the freaks at

Freaks at, freaks at, freaks at, freaks at

Tell me where the freaks at

We get that bass thumpin’, people jumpin’ all over the world

We got them speakers pumpin’, Timmy Trumpet for the woman with curves

Got that freak flow, freak show

Welcome to the circus

Let the leaders lead, preachers preach

Welcome to the service

Close the curtains on ‘em if they’re actin’ like they never heard us

See we do this for a purpose just to keep that fire burnin’

And we don’t need no water let that mother-mother-burn

Timmy play your trumpet let the people go berserk

The bass and the tweeters make the speakers go to war

Ah, the mighty trumpet brings the freaks out to the floor

The bass and the tweeters make the speakers go to war

Ah, the mighty trumpet brings the freaks out to the floor

Tell me, tell me, where the freaks at

Freaks at, freaks at, freaks at, freaks at

Get Back Jojo!

Makes me die inside every time I hear it

Hmm, I respect your opinion. I have to say, I really struggle with this in particular, but if it’s not representative, fine…

OK, checked out her recorded stuff. Good actually. Thanks for putting that right. Reminds me of Young Fathers.
