(before anyone has a go: my primary school is next to two of those places and the house I grew up in is just out of shot in one of them)
I’m not that well travelled, but Bristol is such a lovely city. Since moving back to Birmingham I have missed Bristol every single day.
Probably a bit of a cliché but I have always enjoyed ‘the beautiful sparkling spa water of Bath, in Avon’ as half man half biscuit once put it
Yes, I know it’s in Somerset now
I’ve never bought into the ‘God’s own county’ thing when Yorkshire contains shitholes like Dewsbury but I am rather partial to Whitby.
Probably something where london is actually the winner
Lewes is very picturesque - wandering down the high street with the hills of the south downs in the background, the brewery on the river, cobbled Keere Street, the fifteenth century bookshop…
I see you lived in the posh bit.
Beautiful and actually OPEN. Bonus
Indeed!

Find all the ye olde ones a bit meh, would much rather be somewhere that feels inhabited.
You over in Carrick then?
Depending on who you ask it’s either whiteabbey, jordanstown or newtonabbey
Think it depends on how posh you’re trying to be
