It’s fine. I have a 50/50 hit rate with his albums over the last decade - I really like Life of the World, Transcendental Youth and Goths, but I’m not particularly fussed by All Eternals Deck, Beat the Champ and this one.

Still, though, I missed the Goths tour because I was in a perpetual grump around then (obvious joke here), and JD has still written more songs than mean the world to me than anyone else. It’ll be great.

Liking the new one a lot better than Goths. Loved Beat the Champ myself.
Live show is always a good mix though, should be great!

Like the cover art and new font! I always enjoy when a band goes for a new font color scheme, it’s the simple things.

Second album of the year , single sounds good. There wasn’t much talk on this thread of Song for Pierre Chuvin, what were people thoughts on it? I enjoyed it although in a way it’s tough to distinguish if I liked it / liked it more because of it being a throwback to the old Panesonic or if it’s top TMG album based purely on its merits.

The Pierre Chuvin LP is their best since Beat the Champ imo.
Was actually hoping the news would be another cassette album.
Ah well will pick this up anyway as all MG albums are good.
