Weird when you see/hear of managers as actual ex-players and go, like… oh yeah, duh.
Was listening to whatever football podcast it was in the bath this morning and they talked about Glenn Roeder, and yer man said he remembered seeing him play centre-back for Newcastle, and for a moment I was like… oh… had no idea, always been a manager to me. But like OBVIOUSLY he was a footballer at some point for someone.
Just had that moment seeing Holloway there.
