The first cos I’ve heard a horrifically bad cover of it by my local X Factor reject. The second has been everywhere but I wouldn’t have remembered it existed or know the title or artist if it hadn’t come up in conversation recently.

I’ve heard Adele and Sam Smith but don’t remember much about them anymore and would have to look them up first. Probably heard some more without realising.

i’ve just youtubed all of these and turns out i’m also very familiar with Sorry, Closer and Stitches, but even less familiar with the Sam Smith and Adele ones than i realised.

The Lewisham and Greenwich NHS choir one is a conflation of A Bridge Over Troubled Water and Fix You, so everyone probably knows a bit of that one

(It was Christmas number 1. I bought it because it was for charity, I’ve never listened to it)

Every time I read ‘the writing’s on the wall’ i just think of that awful Prodigy song.

No idea how the actual Sam Smith one goes. Can only hum 4 of the ones listed there.

Also it’s very telling that I stopped working at a major label last year, if you’d asked me how many Top 10 singles from 2013-2015 I could hum it’d probably be 90% of them.
