Gig: Rolling Stones / Lenny Kravitz in Cincinatti

You know, Deeply Dippy is a regular earworm of mine. You know The Game (as in the mind game, not the rapper? And- sorry if you just lost The Game!)? It’s a bit like that except with Deeply Dippy.

Next time I do karaoke, I’m going to fuckin’ nail Deeply Dippy

And The Game! If you think about The Game, you lose The Game!

First album was Parachutes by Coldplay.
First gig was the Stereophonics with Feeder supporting.

First single: Yazz - The Only Way Is Up
First Album: Kylie or Jason, probably
First Single bought by myself: Oasis - Live Forever
First Album bought by myself: Primal Scream - Screamadelica
First Gig: Blur (1994)

First single was Miss Jackson by Outkast
First album was the Wheatus one with Teenage Dirtbag on
First gig was Iggy Pop & Green Day at Cardiff Castle (03 I think)

It was 02, I’m old.

Ah I definitely had the Teenage Dirtbag single, thankfully not the album. Top first gig though Ruffers!

Fiest single : Offspring - Original Prankster
First album - Blink 182 - Enema of the State
First gig - Blood Brothers, Leeds Cockpit 2007

First album chosen: Tears For Fears - Songs From The Big Chair (1985 - ‘free’ tape from Britannia Music Club, chosen when my folks couldn’t decide on anything that month)

First album bought: Bros - Push (1988 - on tape, with holiday money at Ingoldmells Butlins, followed very shortly after by Yazz and the Plastic Population - Wanted, and MJ - Bad, on tape, with pocket money from Woolies in Boston)

First album received: London Boys - The Twelve Commandments Of Dance (1989)

First 7" singles bought: Adamski (featuring Seal) - Killer and England New Order - World In Motion, then Betty Boo - Doin’ The Do (1990, from a small independent place in Spilsby)

First 12" single bought: Sunscreen - Pressure US (1993, from Boston Woolies)

First gigs/concerts: Some cajun band playing at a theatre in a nearby town (a bit Levellers-y), with my mate, which we were allowed to tag along to because his older sister was going, circa 1994. Then Oasis at Maine Road in 1996, on a package coach tour thing. Then, later that year, Beck at Manchester Academy (as sung about by Gomez in Whippin Piccadilly) excitedly driving across from Lincolnshire on a school night, trying to locate the venue without an address or a map (“how big can Manchester be”!) then being dangerously tired on the drive back home. Good times.

First CD single: Wendy James - The Nameless One (1994, a two disc digipack affair, bought a year after release, second hand, in readiness for the swish JVC minisystem I was getting for Christmas - which had a CD player! My first! Genuine massive excitement!)

First single - Natalie Imbruglia, Torn
First album - Chocolate Starfish and the Hotdog Flavoured Water (my parents had bought Spice by the Spice Girls at the request of my brothers and I previously, but that was a joint effort)
First gig - Feeder in Newport
