MTFTSB: Guess the Lyrics! 🎵🤔

Listen to the short clip and make your guess at the lyrics below! Answer will be provided this afternoon. Will this be a series? WHO KNOWS?!

STRICTLY NO CHEATING

Today’s clip comes courtesy of Darlingside! But what are they singing about?

The clip should start at 2:08 and I want the lyrics up to 2:33.

Sitting down on a burley goat
I’ll hold Soleros, balloons and duct tape
Rejected in the cabinet some major deep coleslaw
She never shows her face, her frog’s as big as a house
She says Bernie came to meet me on the roof in Laos
I need to tell my nan that I’m gonna be loose tonight

The last line is genuinely unintelligible.

Other than your first line when listening and reading your guess fits very well.

“Here sitting on an altar Burley built
And old sedans, balloons and duct tape
Protecting the cabinet, there’s an ageing tea cup across the wall
She never shows her face, her frowns as big as a house
She says Burley meet me on the roof in an hour
They need a tub of water, but I’m going to be waiting for you”

Harrison I am burly built
And whole Sedans will loon seducted
Protected in the cabin there’s an agent he calls the one
She never shows her face, her horse is as big as a house
She says burning things, meet me on the roof in an hour
Then I need to tell Morello that I’m gonna be late tonight

Excellent work

There’s a couple of lines people nearly have spot on and a couple that are absolutely nowhere close!

Gonna post the lyrics at 5pm in case anyone else wants to join in the fun. I mean you could just Google them but that would be boring wouldn’t it.

Harrison, Bananarama, burly built
Out of old sedans, balloons and duct tape
Rejected in the cabin there’s an agency coastal
She never shows her face her voice is as big as a house
She says burn your things and meet me on the roof in an hour
Think I need to tell my landlord that I’m going to be late with the rent.

Think the second line is right, no idea about the rest though.

Harrison and I are on a bird he built
Out of old sedans, balloons, and duct tape
Projected in the cabin there’s an agent he calls the lord
She never shows her face, her face is big as a house
She says burn your things and meet me on the roof in an hour
Think I need to tell my landlord that I’m gonna be late with the rent

And we pretty much have it guys! Great work! @Steved filled in most of the gaps and then @Konichiwa_Bitches got it word-for-word minus “wolf”, oh and “voice”.

Prefer the coleslaw based answers though

Out of old Sedans, balloons, and duct tape
Projected in the cabin, there’s an agent he calls the wolf
She never shows her face, her voice as big as a house

I think I need to tell my landlord that
I’m gonna be late with the rent

Also this might not have hit mega engagement levels but if anyone wants to do one sometime that would be ace as I’d quite like to play. Can be hard to pick something when you know the lyrics yourself though. I just went for something fairly slurred.
