LELFY THAT’S MARK RONSON NOT CALVIN HARRIS

(although it is a bangerrrrr)

Oh yeah. They’re pretty interchangeable though…

Two cheeks of the same pale arse

Man, I wish I still had the energy to get mildly irked, but recently even that’s leaked out of me like a deflated child’s balloon caught in a bush.

I surprised myself tbh. I need a lie down now.

Calvin Harris is so so much better than Mark Ronson

Pop music’s never been better than it is now. The closer i get to thirty the more i find myself embracing it, and with that the more open-minded i become in terms of pop culture stuff.

The weird thing is the more you sort of refuse to embrace mass-produced mainstream stuff the more you have tunnel vision. Sure, i like listening to Deaf Bobby Smith’s 1920 hits, and that Throbbing Gristle single released ony on slate, but it doesn’t mean you have to be dismissive of everything else.

That Arianne Grande gig in Manchester was a real eye opener for me. I literally started watching it thinking “these people are all talentless morons and i’ve not heard any of their songs” to bouncing around the living room to tracks i’d heard dozens if not hundreds of times without knowing.

Ed Sheeran’s a smashing prick, like.

Think this might be the first year I’m completely out of touch with stuff like this. Don’t know any of these songs, and if I’ve heard them, chances are it was in the background while in a shop or something.

Feels like a turning point.

hoping to go pro with my george ezra impression this year

think ezra managed to be the blandest thing on hootenanny, quite impressive really

Pretending like you’re stepping into a bath that’s too hot?

its more like trying to swallow the words, but you’re swallowing something thats way too big for your mouth. you know when you swallow something way too big and you can feel a bit of air trapped in your throat and then it feels like a rock in your chest all the way down and you’re filled with regret? thats my george ezra impression

One Kiss was literally everywhere for the whole summer, you have definitely heard it.

When baby HYG gets a little older you might well end up becoming better-versed again.

It’s nice to have you around again a bit more, by the way

i’ve listened to the Grande album so i’ve probably listened to that song but i don’t know it by name. and may not remember it either way. none of the others, haven’t even heard of ‘Keala Settle’ and think it might be a trick question

Cheers buddy, nice to be back, just have to see if I can balance it with work or not :grimacing:

If Baby Shark were in this top ten list, then I’d definitely have heard it courtesy of Baby HYG.

that’s not the question though, the question is whether you can hum it or ID it.
