Now that MTV has finally has shut down it’s music channels in the UK, someone has put together this MTV Rewind site.

It’s got over 30,000 MTV videos divided up by MTV channel or decade and also randomly plays 90’s adverts inbetween songs.

I’ve amended it now to reflect the fact there is still an MTV channel live.

Although I imagine it’s not one most of us will be regularly watching…

I don’t think I read the news as MTV was switching off, just that they were no longer supporting their channels that just showed music videos? MTV itself was going to continue pumping out reality shows on its remaining channels, right?

Aye pretty much. In the UK they’ve shut down the channels that played music videos and have kept one MTV channel for all the remaining reality TV guff.
