I’m sure skip plants have legal requirements too. Like dealing with the fallout from road rage from drivers who are late to work because the skip convoy can’t wait until after rush hour before clogging up single lane roads.

You’ve just reminded me that I got held up leaving Brighton by a slow moving Audi. There’s two sorts of Audi drivers - the idiots who drive far too fast and aggressively, and the idiots who’ve got a precious car and don’t want to drive it in a way that could damage it. So this guy was going about 17mph in the areas which are technically now 20, down from 30, where the police have said that they won’t be enforcing the 20 limit, only going up to 30 when the speed limit changed to 40, and leaving about five seconds after traffic lights went green before they pulled away. The last I saw of them was pulling into oncoming traffic at the roundabout as you get to the dual carriageway :man_facepalming:

Beautiful crisp morning here. Understaffed again in work,which could be tricky. Absolutely no sign of my manager again so I’ll be under pressure.

Went to see the Picasso exhibition on Saturday and finally watched Hereditary on Friday. Found it enjoyable and definitely more thoughtful than many horror films I’ve seen recently.
