I think the only actually unpopular opinion I have is that Muppet Treasure Island is better than Muppets Christmas Carol. Even then it’s not by much.

When I was a kid, friends of ours had a Muppet Show compilation video and for some reason this song got seared into my head, particularly the BUCK! BUCK-BUCK!s and the little alligator on the lifeguard tower
Not sure why I’m sharing this other than procrastinating before bed. Anyway, they’re good lads.

Paul Currie had a touching show years back that reflected on the time he worked as a muppeteer, and how he thinks they shouldn’t have made any more after Jim Henson died

Woah, I had no idea he was involved. I saw him two weeks ago dressed up as an elf called Tony Pinecone on the local arts charity’s Santa walk.
