Kinda surprised by the absence of this on the playlist. Probably the best bass line of all time imo (though obviously I didn’t pick it either).

Honestly, I pick these songs that are genuinely 100% bangers, and they barely get any votes. I go back, listen to them again and remain convinced they’re a banger, refresh the music league, no more votes.
It’s not me that’s wrong, it’s the kids.
This was 7th on my shortlist, thought the length might work against it.
I figured in the end that everyone already knew it and opted for something I love that people might not have heard before.
The strength of some big hitters is testing my resolve to vote for less well known picks this round though.
I made the mistake of inviting my brother to join in, and he’s doing far better than me.
This is my problem. It changes from round to round - sometimes I can’t resist obvious big choices. I always try to give points to things I know less, though.

I was not hugely confident when I posted my song, so in a way I’m reassured by both of my points.
after spending most of my time complaining about the playlist being too long, I got through it in one day and it feels like this round has lasted forever!
This is a 5 day round, looks like they go back to 4 days after this. But given most people have usually managed to vote in 4 days hopefully we’ll get most of the votes in today.
As someone who works full-time and has very little time to listen to music (maybe an hour or so at the most), and who has set himself the task of listening to each track in full, I very much appreciate this round being five days long!
I’m sure we all sometimes look at the leaderboards and think they’re all wrong, but as things stand this looks very well judged to me - its not exactly how I’d rank them but I couldn’t quibble with any of the top 12, they’re all great, got to go a fair way down the table to find a track I didn’t rate.
If anyone enjoyed The Residents in this playlist (not my choice), Primus’ cover of Hello Skinny was my introduction to them.
Still so good.
