Do I run the risk of picking a song with great but subtle bass

This is a legit risk! I fear the nuance will get eaten away at audio gear with woofy bass

Might just pick a song with lots of melodic bass instead

Picked a bassline that I initially knew as a sample in something else. When I finally discovered where it had been sampled from, that song became an all-timer.

I think I’m just the wrong age for this. Feel like (based on what does well) that the average person doing this was a kid in the 80s, and I never quite mesh with what people like.

For some reason, I find myself unable to join the league via the link in this thread, either on my mobile or my computer. I click “join league” and the page refreshes but it still says “join league” and I am neither a participant nor able to submit a song.

Please help!

Have you clicked the “join this league” at the top of the page? Also are you logged in to your Music League account?
