Feared the worst for this one but thereās only one song I properly hate on there and itās not even pop punk.
I hate pop punk so Iām glad this is a short playlist.

Most of these are made-up bands. Probably created by the Spotify algorithm. There are a couple of songs I know and like, probably because I wouldnāt consider them āpop punkā.
Not in the mood for it today so listening will have to wait.

Paulo13 has mentioned before heāll skip past anything that he doesnāt like the sound of pretty quickly. Pop punk is quite a divisive genre, and these are short songs which likely give a good indication at the opening whatās coming for the next 3 minutes - thereās a good chance a lot of these songs wouldnāt make it past 15s if heās not a fan of the genre.

My mate is a big pop punk guy, played in two different pop punk bands (not big ones), manages a band and hosts what seems to be a fairly successful pop punk podcast.
(I chose my own track for this round, as the points will likely show).

Yep, I did listen to at least part of every song, and anything noisier or punkier would have generally got a quick skip from me. Iād generally spend more time trying to see which songs I preferred more than others, but Iām not that keen on the genre so didnāt feel like I would gain much from doing that beyond finding ten songs I was happy enough to vote for!
