Here is the link to join…

Rules:

Share your favorite music

A league is made up of rounds, and each round has a theme. When the round starts, you can submit a song that fits the theme.

Discover new artists

When everyone has submitted, we’ll send you a playlist to listen to. After listening, you can vote and share comments.

Compete to win the league

When the votes are in, we’ll show you the results and comments. The points you earn each round will help you in your quest to win the entire league!

Here is the spreadsheet of tracks we’ve already had..

Anyone else having trouble joining from the link? Takes me to a page asking to log in via Spotify then this error message via the app:

Could that be a Spotify issue?
Here’s the link again. So far 5 people have joined successfully.

Worked from my laptop, all good

I’ve joined but the Music League site seems to be behaving a bit strangely at the moment, I’m on my laptop and I’m seeing ‘submit song’, ‘change song’ and ‘join league to submit song’ buttons all at the same time

Same thing happens to me via the app. Will try later from a laptop.

That link works on my desktop PC but shows as broken on my iPad. Weird.

Yes! I’ll be sure to update the spreadsheet by then with last league’s data.

I already have to ask - how obscure is obscure?

The app often gives me that error and then I press back and it works

The information is in the description. You only have worry about the pedants.

Also not able to join

I copied and pasted the link into an incognito browser on my mobile, and then it worked that way (via the browser instead of auto-defaulting me to the app)

That worked! Thank you!

On the obscure round, how do people feel about the description which suggests potentially never having been mentioned on DiS?

I ask selfishly hoping the answer is that it’s not strictly required, as I tend to post a long list of albums in the monthly poll threads as it tracks for posterity albums I might otherwise forget - so if nobody else ever talked about a band who made e.g my 48th favourite album in a month which I included as part of a list with no other context, can I count that as obscure enough? Would imagine others who share their longlists and honourable mentions might be in the same boat.

if I’ve heard of them but they’ve got under a thousand listeners on Spotify, I’ll not be raising any stink
