Yeah, I have a shortlist of 20 songs without putting anywhere near as much effort in as I have in other rounds.

I think if a really credible song we are all likely to know crops up I might give it a point, i.e. Nirvana - Aneurysm. The last round winner, Argent by Jane Weaver I had not heard before and loved it so naturally I gave it more points and will probably buy the vinyl of that album. Thatās what itās all about for me really.
Although, this said. I am going to win the story round, as long as people listen.

Iām having more indecision this round than any other. Have a bunch of choices in mind and really canāt decide.

Thereās one Scottish song that I reckon is definitely going to be chosen - it even has a title which is clamouring for the win. I imagine a few people might be rushing to select it as soon as the email goes out. Hopefully thereāll be plenty of new songs I like so I donāt need to vote for it!

Torn between two tracks - one i like a lot more but could be quite divisive, another is perfect for the theme but might not stand out enough in the playlist. I think itāll be a last-second decision when the email goes out.

Will be interesting to find out if we are all thinking of the same one as pretty sure it will win. Undeniably a story, a band beloved of DIs. (Iām not submitting it).
This keeps making me think of Karl Pilkingonās song with a story on the XFM shows

Got my first choice for the first time in a couple of rounds
Iāve gone for an all-timer I suspect virtually everyone will know. It feels a bit hollow - I much prefer sharing less well known stuff - but the prospect of digging for something felt exhausting
Have gone for the one I like the most, setting myself up for a world of hurt and dismissive comments
Stuck with my original song pick, I think it will be new to most of you despite not being a new song & Iām hoping some of you like it!
Have done exactly the same, having vacillated more on this choice than any of the others, and also feel oddly hollow about it! Itās an absolute all-timer I was surprised is still available, and a brilliant song, but Iām not sure it feels rightā¦
