i talked myself out of so many hip hop picks but this was in my list for sure, the roots hardest track imo.

im still bummed about how bad back that azz up did in the dance round. otherwise theres a few other mannie fresh tracks i coulda put in here.

this thee oh sees song drum pattern is not too dissimilar to the vitamic c drums. not sure why i stopped listening to this band at some point.

Find them a bit like King Gizzard. They put out way too much stuff. If they edited it down a bit and maybe put the best tracks off say three albums into one, they’d be so much better.

they’re more consistent than King Gizzard imo, and don’t overdo the albums to quite the same extent

i get quite excited about having an annual release from them. although i was supposed to see them again this time last year and it’s now this time next year and i’m wondering how much more they’ll have released by the time it comes round

i made a playlist of the setlist last time i saw them live which also functions as very good best of of their later career i think (not much from the early records though, and they’ve released a couple of things since)
