A massive folder of burnt CDs, mostly old favourites and loud driving music rather than new releases. The last few CDs I listened to in the car would’ve been -
Earth - Living In The Gleam Of An Unsheathed Sword
Ultrasound - Everything Picture (cut the end of the last song to fit it on a single disc)
Julia Holter - Have You In My Wilderness
Iron Maiden - A home-made mix of absolute bangers
Stereolab - Switched On Volume 2: Refried Ectoplasm (with Stomach Worm and We’re Not Adult Oriented tacked on the end)
I haven’t switched anything out for ages, so I think I’ve got Canon Blue - Colonies, Jamie Lenman - Devolver, that Sun Kil Moon/Jesu split album, and the last Aerogramme album. Usually have a lot more variety in my glovebox though!

I only listen to music in the car, so my glovebox is full of everything i’ve been listening to in the last six months. About four big folders of cds, around 100-150 cds in total? I have a tidy up of the folders about once a year, retire some of them, probably ought to do that soon…
How big is your car?
This car has a CD player (last one was USB only), but have never used it in nearly 2 years. Got the old iPod Classic tucked away and plugged in (inside the armrest/storage compartment bit, not the glovebox)
no cd player but tapedeck which is usually hooked to the magic unlimited music phone. BUT the adapters are always breaking so for emergencies I have these tapes:
-Two copies of Graceland for some reason. One is pirate/knock off
-Travelling Wilburys vol 3. Great memories of listening to this on long drives as a child
-Some rad mixes I made at school
-A tape of Beatles demos my dad got off some bloke who said they were rare or unreleased or something. A tall tale I’m pretty sure.
-Dreamtime Dolphin - makes for weird driving music
-And most importantly, Disintegrated Stem Cells
