A year or so back I thought Chapo Trap House was not a controversial political podcast but a sub-genre that combined elements of trap music, house music and Latin American narcodrama

The wedding present have a peel sessions compilation of ukranian folk songs recording. Story goes that a previous guitarista father was ukranian and introduced him/them them to the songs. Listened to them loads over the years and just found it today, properly great

Oh yeah I knew the song but I didn’t realise where it was sampled from (I try and avoid listening to The Clash so today was the first time I had heard Guns of Brixton)
