Aye but it sounds very much in the lane of what Jason Pierce likes to do. Plus at another stage on that soundtrack they use the tremolo + distortion thing that Spacemen 3 used all the time

Funny how Mogwai are likely way more commercially successful than Spiritualized these days. You’d think the band with more traditional songs would be the popular one!

I believe directing ads > directing music videos > directing films is a pretty normal career path for filmmakers. Not sure how true that is now mind.

She Sends Kisses by The Wrens wasn’t a single. For some reason I’d always assumed that was the big single from The Meadowlands.
For a worrying chunk of mine I thought that was what Blink-182 sang when they sang “What’s my age again” in the chorus of, er, What’s My Age Again
