Lockdown has been fun for most in the Faustus house.

Blows my mind that Thundercat was in Suicidal Tendencies.

I remember as a teenager thinking Lou Reed was in Velvet Revolver until I went through the obligatory VU phase

Eh?

Thundercat was Suicidal Tendencies bass player for years. Bizarre considering what he’s done since.

Honestly never realised this. Loved the first 4 ST albums.

Yes and no I reckon. Falko always said he just needed a name and it was the headline of something in the Guardian magazine (or similar - a Saturday/Sunday supplement or NS or whatever). So undoubtedly the title had a political meaning to it.

Never knew that the slightly irritating And the Beat Goes On was originally by Sonny and Cher.

Always thought that guy with his 8 year old daughter on the vocals was the original. (Don’t really know how old she was).

That guy = Buddy Rich.

Hey I’m too stupid to know it was Sonny and Cher. I’m certainly too stupid to know it was that guy.

While I’m confessing my ignorance, I always thought Real Wild Child was Billy Idol. Was surprised to find out it was Iggy Pop.

I am getting seriously schooled by 6 music today.

That picture of young Stephen Morris looks like a Texan serial killer from 1875

Buddy Rich was also in the inspiration for some of George Constanza’s outbursts in the ‘The Opposite’ episode of Seinfeld, based on some of his backstage rants.

A man of many talents (good drummer, massive bastard).

That’s Buddy Rich, not George Costanza.
