This thread is making me feel like an obsessive weirdo because lastfm tells me I have dozens to choose from, and that doesn’t even include my first 12 or so years of music listening. I will just play albums I really love to death. Three representative choices:

Björk – Medúlla*
Stina Nordenstam – The World Is Saved
Mitski – Puberty 2

(*Pretty sure the entire run of albums from Post through Volta would fall into this category :blush:)

  • Pulp: Different Class
  • Elliott Smith: X/O
  • Belle & Sebastian: If You’re Feeling Sinister

I’ve gone for three albums that I bought in the 90s and still listen to now. So that would mean I would have had to listen to them five times a year on average for 20 years. I reckon all of the above fall into this category.

My last.fm tells me i’ve only got half a dozen songs that i’ve listened to over 100 times and no full albums. Probably because it was only about 5 years ago that I started listening to albums fully. Had a real issue finishing albums. Fixed that now haha
