oh right. i’m on a really old iphone (4 i think?). that sounds good, not sure i want to surrender that possibilty. then again would i pay £12 a month for it on its own?
barely ever get a voicemail so i’d put it down as a slight annoyance rather than a issue I’d be willing to pay anything to avoid.
just remembered i’ve got voicemail turned off
8GB vs 16GB vs 32GB vs 64GB
I presume 8 is too little, not sure where the line is between 16 and 32.
Nobody with a PA has an iPhone 4
I’m on 3. Sometimes a bit shit aye but never enough for me to be bothered by it. I’ve heard it’s the worst one for if you live outside a city, but I can’t remember where I read that.
just checked my data usage. i do NOT need unlimited data
I’m not sure what’s possible but I’d guess that a network would be more willing to adjust your contract upwards (more data) rather than downwards. Probably worth looking through some details if you’ve narrowed it down to 3. Also the top-up with 3 isn’t very expensive (much less than o2). I accidentally fell asleep watching NFL game pass on 4G and burnt up about 5 gb in a night! It cost me £5 to get 8 more gbs for the rest of the week before my allowance reset. So maybe get the lowest you think you’ll need and be prepared for the odd top-up or to ask 3 to move you to a higher level.
I used to be on 3, now on Giff Gaff (which uses the 02 network)
The coverage on Giff Gaff seems better
I don’t have unlimited data (don’t need it) - but I think that costs £20
sorry i mean memory
it turns out 8MB data will be enough por moi
urgh should have spotted that.
nothing worse than running out of memory so I’d go as high as you’re willing to spend.
the new iphones only start from 32gb and for me that would be far too low. I’m using 50gb without even trying.
8GGGGGGB
whatever happened to that idea that you can call your provider and say you’re leaving and they give you a sweet deal? just called virgin media to see if they’d match the best offer i’ve found. god the geezer was an idiot. they can’t match it fair enough but it was excruciating. kept offering me again and again the same deal that is on their website and £11 a month more expensive than what i’ve been offered and for less shit. when i said, no that’s fine can you just tell me how to cancel my contract please? he said sure, just a moment. silence. Ok that’s your contract cancelled, is there anything else I can help you with? got played tbf.
no one cares about this thread any more but i’m now looking forward to delivery of my shiny new iphone 6s tomorrow!
no more of this nonsense:
think i might get some kind of cover as well eh
mate
it has served me well
cracking phone you’ve got there smee!
CRACKING!!

LOOOOOOOOOOOL
i wish you all the best with your new purchase
(when i had a cracked phone years ago i stuck some book tape on the screen and it worked wonders until it slowly just stopped responding)
